$40

What we protect

One local crew for homes, businesses, the waterfront and construction sites. We design the system, install it and service it. Our partner station monitors it 24/7.

Homes

Ajax wireless alarms, door and motion sensors, cameras and smart locks. Wireless means few wires to run through your walls. You arm the system from your phone, and you get an alert the moment something happens.

Businesses

Intrusion alarms, cameras and access control for one shop or many sites. You see who opened the building, and when. We also take on commercial and institutional projects.

Marinas, docks and boats

Cameras and sensors for the waterfront. Cellular backup keeps the system online where the internet is weak. We installed the cameras at Maple Bay Yacht Club.

Construction sites

Alarms with photo verification and recording cameras for active jobsites. Rent the system by the month or buy it. When the building is done, we install the permanent system.

We install wireless alarm systems, security cameras and access control, and we connect them to 24/7 alarm monitoring. We also install smoke, heat and carbon monoxide detectors, and smart locks and lights that work in the same app. See all our services.

How it works

Three steps, from your first call to a monitored system.

  1. Book a free site visit

Call (250) 597 2628 or send the form. We call you to book a time.

  2. Get a written quote

We walk your property with you, then give you a written quote. The quoted price is the price.

  3. We install and connect

When you sign the quote and pay the deposit, we book your install. Our own crew installs the system, sets up the app on your phone and connects it to 24/7 monitoring.

What happens when your alarm goes off

A camera records a break in. Monitoring makes sure a person acts on it, at any hour of the night.

  1. A sensor trips

A door opens, a motion sensor sees movement, or a detector finds smoke while the system is armed.

  2. The station gets it

The alarm goes to our ULC listed partner station over WiFi. On the Cellular Plan, it also goes over the cell network.

  3. An operator calls you

A real person follows your call list. They call you first, then your other contacts.

  4. Help is sent

The operator asks police or fire to attend, under your local bylaw rules.

ULC listed means the monitoring station meets the Underwriters Laboratories of Canada standard for alarm monitoring.

37 Google reviews, all five stars

“…Josh, Charlie, and Sean were nothing short of fantastic. The installation was quick, professional, and very well priced. On top of that, their customer service has gone well above and beyond whenever I’ve had questions…”

Brett L., Greater Victoria. Google review, 2026

“Our security carrier now offered less services having been bought out by a national brand with no local support. Ecosecurity was recommended to us and we are very pleased with every phase of their service. From system recommendations, cost and flexibility. Professional installation and caring support are what come to mind with Ecosecurity.”

Malcolm B.. Google review, 2026

“Ecosecurity Services just installed a new security system in our house. The installation went smoothly. The new system is much more user friendly than our old system…”

We do not add hours to your quote. The price only changes if you change what you want installed.

Parts and labour warranty

If something is not right after the install, we come back and fix it. Everything we install is covered for 1 year, parts and labour. Read the warranty terms.

No long term contract

Monitoring is month to month, so you are not locked in. Have an alarm from another company? See how to switch to EcoSecurity.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. Monitoring is month to month. The WiFi Plan is $40 a month and the Cellular Plan is $50 a month.

Can you take over my existing alarm or cameras?

Often, yes. Many cameras built to the ONVIF standard, a common standard for security cameras, can connect to a new system. We check your equipment for free at the site visit.

What happens if my internet goes down?

On the Cellular Plan, your system keeps sending alarms to the monitoring station over the cell network. On the WiFi Plan, alarms cannot reach the station while the internet is down.

Who answers when my alarm goes off at night?

A live operator at our ULC listed partner station, 24 hours a day. The operator follows your call list, then sends police or fire when needed.

Do you install on the Gulf Islands?

Yes. We install and service systems on Salt Spring, Pender, Galiano, Mayne, Saturna, Thetis, Gabriola, Denman and Hornby. For island and rural properties, we recommend the Cellular Plan, because it keeps working when the internet goes down.

What areas do you serve?

We are based at 157 Trunk Rd in Duncan. We serve Vancouver Island from Victoria to Campbell River, and the Gulf Islands.

What does a site visit cost?

Nothing. The site visit is free and there is no obligation. You get a written quote, and the quoted price is the price.
