We give advice for your property in writing, after a site visit.
Prices
Prices on this website are in Canadian dollars, as of October 2026. Your written quote is the price for your job. Prices include tax.
Warranty
What is covered. For 1 year from the install date, we repair or replace, at no charge, any equipment we supplied and installed that fails in normal use. We also fix, at no charge, any problem that our installation work causes. This covers parts and labour.
After the first year. If the maker’s warranty still covers a part, we help you with the claim. Our labour is then billed at our normal rates.
What is not covered. Damage from accidents, misuse, power surges, lightning, water, pests or weather beyond the product’s rating. Changes or repairs that someone other than EcoSecurity makes. Batteries, which wear out in normal use. Lost key fobs. Equipment that we did not supply, such as equipment we take over in a switch. The internet or cell service that your system uses.
How to make a claim. Call (250) 597 2628 or email cmacfarlane@ecosecurity.ca. Tell us what is wrong and what the app shows. We book a visit, and we fix it at no charge if the warranty covers it.
Your rights. This warranty is in addition to your rights under BC law. It does not limit them.

Law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
