Security cameras you can check from your phone

We install security cameras (CCTV) that record day and night. You watch them live in the app, and a camera alert opens the clip. We can link your cameras to your alarm, so an alarm starts the recording.

A camera records. Monitoring responds.

Camera only

At 2 am, the camera records the break in. No one sees it until the morning.

Camera and monitored alarm

At 2 am, the alarm goes to a live operator, who calls you and asks police to attend. Later, you watch the clip in the app.

Cameras work best with a monitored alarm. We install both.

Cameras we install

Turret cameras

For outside walls and eaves. A wide view of doors, yards and driveways.

Bullet cameras

For long views, such as a parking lot, a lane or a dock.

Dome cameras

Small cameras for inside shops, offices and common rooms.

Recorders

A recorder keeps footage from many cameras in one place. It can also take cameras from other brands.

What you can do in the app

Watch live

See all your cameras on one screen, from anywhere.

Go from alert to clip

Tap a camera alert to go straight to the recording.

Record what matters

The cameras can tell a person or a car from a moving branch. You get fewer useless alerts.

Link to the alarm

An alarm can start the cameras near it recording.

When cameras and an alarm work together

  1. A sensor trips

A door or motion sensor trips while the system is armed.

  2. The cameras record

The cameras near the sensor start recording.

  3. An operator calls you

The alarm goes to a live operator at our ULC listed partner station, who follows your call list.

  4. You see the clip

Open the app and watch the recording.

ULC listed means the monitoring station meets the Underwriters Laboratories of Canada standard for alarm monitoring.

Already have cameras?

Many cameras built to the ONVIF standard, a common standard for security cameras, can connect to a new recorder. We check your cameras for free at the site visit, and we tell you which ones can stay.

If you are switching from another company, see switching to EcoSecurity.

Cameras and privacy

Point cameras at your own property

Aim cameras at your own doors, yard and lot, not into a neighbour’s windows.

Businesses and stratas

In BC, a business or strata that records people must follow the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). We help you choose camera views and put up notice signs.

How it works

  3. We install it

When you sign the quote and pay the deposit, we book your install. Our own crew installs the system and sets up the app on your phone.
