Marina, dock and boat security

Cameras and sensors for the waterfront. We installed the camera system at Maple Bay Yacht Club. On the Cellular Plan, alarms reach the station over the cell network, even where the dock WiFi is weak.

What we protect on the water

Clubhouses and offices

Alarms, cameras and access control for the building.

Docks and gates

Cameras on the gangways and gates. Fob access, so only members get onto the docks.

Boats

Sensors on cabin doors and hatches, and motion sensors inside. We plan the setup for your boat and your slip.

Fuel docks and boat yards

Outdoor sensors with cameras, and cameras with night vision.

Private docks

A camera on your dock, in the same app as your home system. See home security.

Planned for the waterfront

Weak internet

On the Cellular Plan, the hub sends alarms over the cell network, so the alarm does not need dock WiFi. Cameras need a network connection, and we plan it at the site visit.

Long docks

Range extenders carry the radio signal down the dock.

Weather

Ajax cameras are rated IP65, sealed against dust and rain.

Dark nights

Ajax turret and bullet cameras see up to 50 m in the dark.

What happens after hours

  1. A sensor trips

A sensor on the gate or on a boat sees movement after hours.

  2. The station gets it

The alarm goes to our ULC listed partner station over the cell network.

  3. An operator calls

The operator follows your call list: the manager, the owner, or both.

  4. Help is sent

The operator asks police to attend, under local rules.

ULC listed means the monitoring station meets the Underwriters Laboratories of Canada standard for alarm monitoring.
