What happens when your alarm goes off

  1. A sensor trips

A door opens or a motion sensor sees movement while the system is armed.

  2. The station gets it

The alarm goes to our ULC listed partner station over WiFi. On the Cellular Plan, it also goes over the cell network.

  3. An operator calls you

A real person follows your call list. They call you first, then your other contacts.

  4. Help is sent

The operator asks police or fire to attend, under your local bylaw rules.

Questions from homeowners

How much does a home system cost?

It depends on your home and what you want to protect. The site visit is free, and you get a written quote. Monitoring is $40 a month on WiFi or $50 a month on cellular.

Do I need a landline?

No. The hub sends alarms over your internet. On the Cellular Plan, it also uses the cell network.

What if I set off the alarm by mistake?

Disarm it with the app, a fob or the keypad. If the station calls, give your verbal password. Your verbal password is not your alarm code.

Can my family use the app?

Yes. Each person gets their own login and code.

I rent my home. Can I still have a system?

Yes. Wireless sensors mount with few holes, and the system can move with you.
